RAMETIN MOVAHHED lived the first twelve years of his life in his native Iran where he developed his love of theater and cinema before he immigrated to the United States in 1976.
Rametin had a long association with the San Diego Repertory Theater, putting together various plays throughout the 1980 s including Edward Albee's play The Zoo Story and Peter Schaffer s Equus which earned him high praise from a wide range of reviewers, including none other than the venerable Los Angeles Times.
Rametin moved to the East Coast in 1990 and settled in Rochester, New York. There he established a well-respected film production company producing, directing and editing feature films, shorts, commercials and documentaries.
From the year 2000 Rametin perused an expansion of his production company to Europe by establishing Lenzflare International Workshops, an educational facility for working professional in the field of film and media. Since 2004 Lenzflare workshops have been conducted offer 10 European countries and parts of the Middle East as the reputation continues to grow.
Since 2005 Rametin has been working on the documentary project Beyond the Pale, a comprehensive look at the world events and conflicts of cultures, which rapidly grew past personal aims into an epic socio-political study series. This five hour mini-series, his first major documentary work, will be translated to multiple languages for international broadcast and is do to be released in Fall of 2008.
